TellDodo was launched in September 2007 as a free service that replaces website addresses (URLs) with easy-to-pronounce words.
This greatly simplifies the way URLs are communicated orally (by phone or radio) or visually (television or billboard ads), or even textually (sms message) where either the sender or the recipient are unable to copy and paste URLs to/from an email or an instant message.
The simplest form of the service takes a URL and returns a unique, randomly chosen key-phrase made of 3 simple english words. Alternatively, you can choose your own unique tags for your link.

TellDodo.COM is hosted on an AMD x64 server running OpenSolaris and lighttpd
